Thematic Seminar 2: Sustainable Development & Urban Transformation
In Amsterdam on 6 & 7 December 2007, the second URBAN MATRIX workshop focused on transformation of urban areas such as former industrial zones into revitalised, attractive urban spaces.
A particular focus was put on challenges related to the role
of the different actors and how sustainable development concerns
are reflected in transformation strategies.
